Three years ago, I was under a tremendous amount of stress and my body responded by becoming constipated. Constipation wasn't something foreign to me because on my dad's side of the family this was the norm, and we all had bowel movements once a week. But this time something was very wrong, no matter what I was taking to create a bowel movement nothing was working. In the meantime, I was losing energy, doing the simplest things felt like climbing "Mount Everest"
My body was auto intoxicating itself. Now weeks had gone by and still no elimination. I visited 4 different GP's and I would explain to them that I felt like a car in the middle of winter at -25 degrees Celsius and that I needed booster cables to jump start my engine. All that they recommended was to drink plenty of water and Metamucil. I was drinking 3 litres of water a day... still nothing. I was like a candle slowly burning away.
Finally a co worker recommended Francine Gendeau ND who had an excellent reputation of helping people with bowel problems. I quickly made my appointment and met with her. It was a two hour consultation; she explained everything from the mistakes we make, myths about colonics, and solutions to a healthier life. She explained that this was not going to be quick fix but that it would take some time, courage and diligence but the results would be worth it, in order to get my life back.
And so my healing journey began... I went home that night and followed Francine's directions and upon awakening my first bowel movement. I can not express enough the joy and relief I felt. Because I had started thinking that I was losing my mind.
It's been 2 1/2 years that I started my weekly visits with Francine...after a few months my energy level returned. I have had a bowel movement everyday since I've started my colonics. I can't picture my life without ever having a bowel movement.
I regained my vitality, self confidence and once again a zest for living.
Through out these sessions Francine has become my coach & a friend... I tell her I light up a candle for her every time I'm in church for bringing me back to life... a healthier life that is.
